NYM coordinates and hosts a multitude of lectures, seminars, conferences, halaqah series, courses, and other ‘ilm based programs in a variety of formats in order to foster the love of the Quran and Sunnah in all age groups in our communities. Perhaps the most striking example is the NYM ‘Ilm Circle: running for over a decade, making it one of the longest running online halaqahs in Canada.
The NYM ‘Ilm Circle is a unique opportunity to explore Islamic concepts in contemporary settings while receiving unique mentorship opportunities and benefiting from a team-based setting. ‘Ilm circle students join from across Canada in convenient and accessible weekly sessions taught by Dr. Syed ibn Iqbal and a variety of guest teachers.
